Descrição
The Bicycle and Pedestrian Curricula Guide was published by the Safe Routes to School National Partnership
(National Partnership). This guide was made possible through contributions from a number of authors and
reviewers, and with funding from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The National Partnership is
grateful for their assistance. The National Partnership is a fast-growing network of more than 500 organizations
and professional groups working to set goals, share best practices, secure funding and inform agencies that
implement Safe Routes to School programs across the nation. The Partnership’s mission is to advocate for safe
walking and bicycling to and from schools, and in daily life, to improve the health and well-being of America’s
children and to foster the creation of livable, sustainable communities. The Partnership is hosted by the Bikes
Belong Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, which is a sister organization to the Bikes Belong Coalition.
